Emergency Medical Technicians

LOCATION:          Ventura County, CA

TYPE:                        Part-time / Per Diem

PAY RATE:              $22.00 – $25.00 per hour (depending on qualifications & assignment)

EMT RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work as a team to ensure a high-level of patient care and customer service is delivered to the client.
  • Be flexible as special events often change. Be prepared to operate on a 24-hour clock.
  • Remain up to date with current standards of care, including equipment functions and uses and all certifications, licenses, and registrations.
  • Conduct yourself in a courteous, helpful, and professional manner when dealing with patients, co-workers, supervisors, and the public.
  • Recognize and treat any medical condition with appropriate techniques, equipment, and knowledge of all State and County protocols as an Emergency Medical Technician.
  • Prepare and submit a patient care reports.
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull 130 lbs or more.

EMT REQUIREMENTS:

  • CA EMT State Certification (minimum requirement)
  • CA Driver’s License
  • CPR Certification for the Health Care Provider (AHA or American Red Cross)
  • Acceptable Driving Record
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull 130 lbs or more
